I’m Bridgette!

I’ve been a speechie for three years. It’s been a jam packed few years of learning and I hope it stays that way.

My favourite part of this job is definitely building connections. It means so much to me that I get to visit people in their homes and that they trust me enough to share their stories. I’m also fascinated by how our brains work when it comes to communication, I like finding ways to bridge the gap when miscommunications happen and I love supporting people to advocate for themselves at school and work.

When I’m not at work, you’ll find me somewhere outside in the sun, travelling to visit my family, walking by the river with friends and searching for treasures in the op- shops.
