Your membership commences on the date or commencement date specified at the time of purchase and continues for 12 months.

3. Membership fees and cancellations

Membership fees are payable as displayed at the time of purchase.

Because GROW your brain is a 12-month membership and members receive access to digital resources, professional learning content and recordings throughout the membership period, refunds or cancellations are not offered for change of mind, inability to attend live sessions, change of employment, changes in personal circumstances or failure to access available membership content.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

4. Live sessions and recordings

GROW your brain aims to provide one live online professional learning session each month.

Live sessions will generally run for approximately 60 minutes.

We understand that members will not always be able to attend live.

A recording of each live session will be made available to members within seven (7) days of the live event, except where technical difficulties or circumstances outside GROW’s reasonable control prevent this.

Session dates, times, presenters or guest speakers may occasionally need to change. Where possible, members will be notified of changes in advance.

5. Research articles and copyright

Each month, GROW your brain will provide members with the title, author/s, publication details and/or link required to locate the selected research paper or article.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, research papers and articles discussed through GROW your brain are not authored, published or owned by GROW.

Copyright remains with the relevant author, publisher or copyright holder.

GROW does not guarantee that every selected article will be freely available for download.

It is the member’s responsibility to lawfully access or download the selected article through an open-access source, publisher, professional association, library, university, workplace subscription or other legitimate means available to them.

The cost of obtaining an article, where a fee or subscription is required, is not included in the GROW your brain membership fee unless expressly stated otherwise.

6. GROW resources and intellectual property

GROW Application to Practice resources, discussion prompts, templates, recordings, presentations and other original materials provided as part of GROW your brain remain the intellectual property of GROW unless otherwise stated.

These resources are provided for the personal professional learning of registered members.

Resources must not be copied, reproduced, uploaded, sold, distributed, published or shared outside the registered membership without prior written permission from GROW.

7. Individual memberships

An individual membership belongs to the person registered at the time of purchase.

Individual memberships cannot be shared between colleagues or across a workplace.

Login details, recordings, GROW resources and member-only content must not be shared with another person.

8. Team memberships

Team memberships provide access for the number of people specified in the membership purchased.

Each participating team member must be individually registered with their own name and email address.

Only registered team members are entitled to access member resources, recordings and professional learning documentation.

Membership access must not be shared with additional team members beyond the number of places purchased.

If a registered team member leaves an organisation during the membership period, GROW may permit the organisation to transfer that place to another staff member. Please contact GROW to arrange any membership changes.

9. Certificates of attendance and participation

Certificates are issued individually and only to people who are registered members of GROW your brain.

Certificates cannot be issued to colleagues, team members or other people who have viewed or accessed content using another person’s membership.

Where a certificate records attendance or participation in a live session, the member may be required to attend the relevant session and/or meet any participation requirements communicated by GROW.

Where completion of a recording is eligible for a certificate, GROW may require the member to confirm completion or undertake a brief reflection or other activity before a certificate is issued.

10. Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

GROW your brain is designed to support professional learning and reflective practice.

Participation may be relevant to a member’s Continuing Professional Development requirements; however, GROW does not guarantee that any session, activity, resource or membership hour will be accepted as CPD by a particular professional association, registration body, employer or governing organisation.

CPD requirements vary between professions and organisations.

Each member is responsible for determining whether GROW your brain activities meet the requirements of their relevant professional or regulatory body and for maintaining their own CPD records.

A certificate of attendance or participation is not a guarantee that the stated activity will be accepted as CPD.

11. Professional education – not clinical advice

GROW your brain is provided for professional education, discussion and reflective learning.

Content discussed during GROW your brain is general in nature and is not intended to replace individual clinical reasoning, professional judgement, supervision, workplace policies or advice specific to an individual child, family or client.

Members remain responsible for practising within their own professional scope, registration requirements, codes of conduct and applicable laws and standards.

Discussion of research does not necessarily indicate endorsement of all findings, methodologies or recommendations contained within that research.

12. Privacy and confidentiality

Members are expected to maintain professional confidentiality during live discussions.

Any clinical examples discussed by members must be appropriately de-identified and must not contain information that could reasonably identify a child, family, client, colleague or organisation without appropriate consent.

Members must not record, reproduce or distribute GROW your brain live sessions without prior written permission from GROW.

GROW may record live sessions for member access. By participating in a live session, members acknowledge that their voice, comments or contributions may be captured in the recording.

Members who do not wish to be identifiable in a recording may participate with their camera off.
